Why train in mental health first aid in the workplace?
When it comes to mental health, we are not always confident in knowing how to support a friend, family member or colleague experiencing a mental health issue or where to go for support.
Mental Health First Aid, or MHFA, is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health and provide help on a first-aid basis.
Used alone, it will not reduce mental ill-health. The training needs to be a part of your broader wellbeing strategy.

Course Feedback
I completed the Mental Health First Aid course in November last year. This was definitely one of the highlights of 2020.
Ann Marie was a fantastic Trainer in this topic, using case studies to help us understand the issues. She was patient, empathetic and I would highly recommend anyone to do this course.
